The outdoor map Pyhä Luosto covers the tourist resorts of Pyhätunturi and Luosto, as well as surrounding Pyhä-Luosto National Park. The area consists of e.g. an extensive ski track network and hiking routes that are suitable for daytime hikes. A few-day-long hike can be made on the 45-kilometre-long Pyhä Luosto hiking route. Snowmobile tracks and kayaking routes have also been marked on the map.
In addition to terrain details, e.g. huts, routes and other hiking services, as well as restaurants and accommodation services, have been marked on the map. A new addition to the map is the fact that ten attractions or experiences in the area have been marked and they have been described in a few sentences at the edge of the map. This aims to offer the area’s best experiences to map users, who are less familiar with the area. At the edge of the map, you can also find all the hut coordinates in the area as well as information about the declinations.
The map has a Cartesian ETRS-TM35FIN coordinate grid and EUREF-FIN (WGS84) geographical degrees. The scale of the map is 1:25 000 (1cm on the map = 250m of terrain), and it has double-sided printing.
